Just when I thought I'd have to get Guitar Hero World Tour this Christmas to change up the pace a bit....Rock Band announces the sequel to the best music game EVER!
I don't feel like copying and pasting the news article but here are a few bullet points....and yes...the BEST TWO are the first two....
* You will be able to play ALL of the DLC from Rock Band 1 in Rock Band 2, and future DLC will be playable in both games even after Rock Band 2 releases!
* Your Rock Band instruments WILL work in Rock Band 2
* They have some major announcements when it comes to the new set list, I believe the word "suprises" was used.
* They are working on letting you play an instrument and sing at the same time
* They won't "confirm" that the Band World Tour mode will work online out of the box, but they've "all but" confirmed it
* If they do a music generator like the new Guitar Hero game they won't make it an afterthought, they want it a fully fleshed out part of the game where actual musicians can make their songs in the games to send to their friends and such.
* There will be many improvements to the new instruments (if you choose to get them) and they are asking third party manufacturers to make their own as well so customers have a big choice.

He was 83.
